How do you do this? I don't even LIKE surreal paintings and I can't get enough of your art!
Something about the way you do the light and the colors, and the skies and everything! It's so amazing!

Thank you. Unlike many surrealists, who emphasize psychology and the subconscious above all else, I'm just as interested in the physical, natural world around me as well.

I think it's also that you place your surreal objects in an environment that would be plenty pretty on its own. Instead of a bunch of clocks melting on a very drab, plain brown setting. Or a train coming out of a very plain wall.
Most surreal paintings scream "Hey! Isn't this weird?!" but yours seem to say more "Hey! Isn't this beautiful?! Also there's some weird stuff going on, cool huh?"
I really, really like that. I plowed through your gallery from start to finish and every single picture was a whole new experience. It was, to me, the visual equivalent of a curiously foreign yet delicious all-you-can-eat buffet. :)
