Oil on canvas. 18"x24".

Exactly ten years later, January of 2009, I decided to do a 'sequel' of sorts. This painting is it.

It was part spontaneous but this painting was layed out ahead of time.

I went through old National Geographics and black & white copies that I've made from photos in clip art and travel books about Alaska, the Poles and so on that I've collected over the years.
Then I cut out pieces of them and put them together, rearranging them until they formed an interesting structure. I used that to go by.
