I grew up with a taste for sci-fi and fantasy but the beauty of nature (especially Winter and the other seasons) has always moved me.
Music inspires me to paint, especially "mindscape' music, such as prog rock, psychedelic music, classical, new age and medieval music.
Places from my childhood memories or places that I see in and around my neighborhood influence some of the landscapes in my paintings, as well.

how long does it take you to make one painting?

This one took a little less than 3 weeks. My larger paintings usually take 4 to 5 weeks. I try to do one painting per month. I think in calendar terms.

Sir, you are an amazing artist! I really admire your work. You also have a very creative mind. :) (I am not a good artist, but I want to improve to become a great one like you!) Happy  late New Year, by the way. ^^

Thank you. I'm so glad you like my work.
I always liked to draw ever since I was a little kid. I guess I used to draw pretty good for my age throughout my grade school and high school years. I was by no means on a genius level, though.
I drew much better as I became older during my college years.
Back then one of my art professors said that most artists didn't reach their peak until around 40.
I would say that's about right.
Happy New Year to you, too!
